In December 2023, we made out a call for a collective speculation exercise within our community of friends and colleagues in Guadalajara, in which we collected a series of photographs and testimonies regarding ideas about what the body, productivity, landscape and community are and will be in 100 years.

We carried out a series of interviews that concluded by asking the person “what part of your body do you considered the most useful?”This part was then photographed by our dear friend Daniel Magaña, so, a complete sketch of who is speaking was formed, considering their voice, their ideas and the ways they relate to their own body.

The link between body, productivity and the ways these concepts might evolve in the future was one of the keen aspects whilst realizing this exercise. From the obtained testimonies, individual and collective fictions are intersected to draw a map of possible futures. In the exercise of imagination and dialogue, the possibility of action might open up.

These photographs and testimonies where presented at an exhibition called “Un cronovisor para no haber llegado nunca a la luna” curated by Jorge Vargas and Priscila Santos at the OSSMO project space in Guadalajara, México on July 2024.
