For prepared electric guitar, pedals & lights. The instrument is seen as a sound object mixing Contemporary Classical languages and the traditions of Noise Music and No Wave. Due to COVID-19, a live premier wasn’t possible, so, in its place, a “music-cinema performance” was recorded. This piece explores the idea of cognitive dissonance, dissociating what’s been seen and what’s been heard.
On a personal note, this piece represents a turning point in my early development, since it was the first time I've taken on the task of composing, producing and directing a larger-scale piece of what I was used to.
